PANELCO-1 has scheduled a brownout for its entire coverage on Wednesday, 20 Aug 2008, from 8am-5pm.

Typhoon "KAREN" has maintained its strength and is now off the Eastern coast of Northern Cagayan. Centered 110 kms East of Aparri, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 140 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 170 kph.

DOT, province to hold tour-guiding seminar

LINGAYEN -- Pangasinan has so many beaches and tourist destinations, yet it has only one licensed professional tour guide.

To address this, the Provincial Government, through its Tourism Operations Division (Topad) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) regional office, will conduct a 10-day seminar for tour guides.
